Dungeon Quest Reborn officially includes rare armor. Choose armor by the displayed fields that solve your current route: surviving a specific hit, keeping enough damage to meet the objective, or supporting the weapon and abilities you can use safely. Rarity color is context, not a complete decision.
Read every armor field
Record the exact item name, slot, displayed path or role label, rarity wording, all useful stats, requirement, source dungeon, difficulty, and date. Compare against the equipped piece in the same slot. If the interface shows multiple armor pieces or set relationships, do not assume a bonus until the current description states one.
Note both gains and losses. A piece that raises survival but removes essential damage may make the timer worse. A damage-focused piece may be unusable if it turns one readable mistake into a failed run. The right balance is the one that completes the selected dungeon more consistently.
Currently documented armor entity
A current exact-game video is titled “Dropping Purple Eldenbark Warrior Chestplate | Dungeon Quest: Reborn.” This supports the name Eldenbark Warrior Chestplate, its chestplate category, and a visible “Purple” descriptor in the creator’s title. It does not safely establish the live rarity name, full stats, exact source, difficulty, effect, or probability.

Type: chestplate, community reported.
Observed label: “Purple” in a current drop-video title.

Test armor on a repeated route
Equip one candidate piece and run the same dungeon and difficulty. Compare avoidable hits, deaths, boss access, room pace, and completion. Keep weapon and abilities unchanged so the result belongs to the armor test.
If survival improves and the objective remains comfortable, the piece is a practical upgrade. If damage falls enough to cause failure, restore the old armor or solve the damage bottleneck elsewhere. If nothing meaningful changes, save upgrade resources until the current economy and replacement pace are clearer.
Test at least twice because one clean or unlucky run can mislead. Use the Difficulty Guide if the setting is too punishing to compare. Use Gear Progression for the farm-or-advance choice.
Avoid false set and class assumptions
The official description says players unlock abilities and forge their own path, but public evidence does not establish a complete permanent class system. An armor name containing “Warrior” is not enough to define every class rule or compatibility. Read the current item card and ability behavior.
Do not assume pieces with similar names form a set, unlock a bonus, or require matching equipment. Only the live interface can establish that. Do not infer rarity from color alone when the current text provides a label.
Avoid “best armor” claims that omit route, difficulty, stats, date, and comparison criteria. An armor piece that is best for safe solo learning may not maximize a coordinated party’s damage, and an offensive piece may be poor during a first clear.
Record armor sources responsibly
After a reward, record dungeon, difficulty, solo or party, exact name, slot, displayed rarity, stats, and date. One drop establishes a possible source under those conditions, not a probability. Reproduce it or find independent current evidence before calling a source stable.
Use Loot Drops for entries whose category or source is not fully confirmed. Unknown values should remain blank instead of being guessed.
